Sunday School

The Sunday School of St. Mary’s Church, Bambalapitiya is the largest association within the church, dedicated to nurturing the faith of budding parishioners. It currently facilitates children from kindergarten through grade 11 in all three mediums, ensuring inclusivity and comprehensive religious education. A team of qualified, passionate, and committed teachers diligently guide and shape the kids, instilling strong moral and spiritual values. Additionally, the 10:30 AM Sunday Mass is specially dedicated to Sunday School children, where they undertake the readings, singing, and offertory, allowing them to actively participate in worship. More than just a place for learning catechism, the Sunday School serves as the foundation for raising and fostering the future generation of St. Mary’s Church under the embrace of Mary our loving Mother.
